Moldova puts in place new rules for newcomers

Any newcomer flying to Moldova will be subject to heightened security checks by the Information and Security Service. The country’s government has signed into law a bill concerning terrorism prevention. Upon arrival, airline representatives will be legally obliged to submit passenger lists for further checkup.
The explanatory section of the bill says that recent terror attacks have been significantly compromising Moldova’s security. According to ISS, Moldova attracts terrorist as a transit territory.
